Dear People of Action,

Please plan to join us this Monday, April 10th at 5:30 PM to hear about the health of the Huron River from our friends Andrea Paine and Melina Pakey-Rodriguez of the Huron Valley Watershed Council. The Huron River is the reason settlers 200 years ago established Ypsilanti where it is. What things are impacting the water quality of our river and what can be done about it? What do recent studies on PFAS in Southeast Michigan rivers tell us about the Huron? How important is freshwater biodiversity to our river? What progress has been made towards Lake Erie phosphorus reduction? Why are native plants beneficial and non-natives harmful to our watershed? How can we boost climate resiliency and protect clean water? These are some of the questions to be addressed. Don't miss it! We meet, as always, at the township Aubrees, 2122 Whittaker Road in the VIP Room. Bring a friend for this interesting talk!
